Leonora Kennedy
Graduated with a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Limerick 2018. BSc in Human Biology and Sports Science & a MSc in Psychology from Kingston University London. Qualified STOTT Pilates instructor. CORU Registered PT030095
Prior to becoming a Chartered Physiotherapist, Leonora was a successful member of the Irish rowing team and narrowly missed out on qualification for the Rio Olympics.
Leonora is STOTT Pilates trained and has taught with the bump room since 2018. She is currently working in a busy private practice in Limerick City. Here, she treats patients with a range of musculoskeletal issues including antenatal and postnatal patients.
Leonora gained a keen interest in women’s health in her final placement at university. Here she treated her own caseload of antenatal and postnatal patients and led physiotherapy specific antenatal classes.
Leonora has a combination of expertise and experience that brings confidence to women exercising during pregnancy. Her passion is to empower women to stay healthy mentally and physically by engaging in exercise during pregnancy.
Leonora had her first baby in 2020. She lives with her husband and daughter in Limerick City.
