Brona works full time as a senior chartered physiotherapist in a busy Dublin maternity hospital and has been running Bump Room classes for the past 7 years in Rathfarnham. Having qualified from University College Dublin in 2009, Brona worked and travelled in Australia before realising that women’s health was her passion and she began to specialise in the area of pregnancy and post-natal recovery. She has certificates in the assessment and treatment of urinary incontinence, ano-rectal dysfunction and advanced manual therapy for the pelvic floor. She served as secretary on the Chartered Physiotherapist in Women’s Health and Continence special interest committee and she brings her skills in assessing and treating pelvic and back pain, urinary incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction and post-natal rehabilitation to her classes. Brona is passionate about keeping mum’s fit throughout their pregnancy to prepare for childbirth and motherhood. More recently, she has moved into the area of neonatal physiotherapy and specialises in baby development.
