Graduated with an honours degree in Physiotherapy from Keele University England. Masters degree in advanced healthcare practice from University College Cork. Pilates trained with APPI. CORU Registered PT033226
Ailish has nearly 20 years of experience as a physiotherapist. She started her career in Cork University Hospital covering all acute specialties including orthopaedics, musculoskeletal, neurology and ICU. She spent time working in private practice, working both pitch side and in the clinic. She currently works as a senior physiotherapist in Primary Care where she treats a wide range of clients through the ages, from young children, to mothers and older people.
Ailish is a qualified APPI Pilates instructor and a volunteer buddy with the Friends of Breastfeeding charity. She is passionate about maintaining a positive mindset during pregnancy, labour, birth and beyond. Women’s health is an area of great interest, and this year she has undertaken courses in pelvic floor assessment and is about to commence online training in physiotherapy for the Female Athletic population. She is currently on a remote learning course in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness training which has enhanced both her communication and motivational goal setting skills. Ailish lives on a farm in county Cork and is a busy mum to 3 small boys. In her spare time, she loves working out, walking, reading and Netflix.< View PrevView Next >
