Charlene Hyland – Limerick
Graduated with an honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ulster. Higher National Certificate in Physiology and Health Science from the Institute of Technology Carlow. Trained in dry needling and myofascial release. Pilates trained with APPI.
Charlene has spent the past 10 years working in both the NHS and HSE, as well as 2 years working in Australia. She has also worked privately and with GAA teams throughout her career.
She has a passion for women’s health and spent over 2 years working in the maternity hospital in Cork where she treated a wide variety of both ante natal and post natal women.
Charlene has experience treating women with urinary incontinence, prolapse and pelvic girdle dysfunction. She is passionate about women enjoying their pregnancies and keeping as fit as possible through exercise.
Originally from Kildare Charlene is now based in Limerick with her husband Keith, she enjoys being mum to Lily born in February 2018 and is working part time between UL in preparing physio students for placement and in the HSE covering a clinical caseload of elderly medical rehab patient’s.
